Bentley Jess, I Want You to Know

As I sit here cuddling with you on the couch, while Daniel Tiger is playing on the laptop, I can't help but to tell you some things that I want you to know.

I want you to know that when you were born, and I held you for the first time, I was scared. I was so scared. But you changed my life, in the best way. You make me the happiest mom in the world.

I want you to know that even though some days where you are really cranky and tired, it makes me cranky and tired. But somehow you always turn our rough day into a good day. You have the cutest laugh that always makes me laugh!

I want you to know that when you're older, our relationship may change. But my love for you, as my son, will always be the same. My love for you will never change.

I want you to know that your dad loves you so much. Every time he has to leave us for work, he misses you the most. He will do anything for you. You are his world.

I want you to know that you're going to grow up to do amazing things. It won't be easy, but your dad and I will be there every step of the way if you need help. You are such a smart boy and I can't wait to see what your future brings you!

I want you to know that you bring so much joy into our lives and those around you. You are the best thing that has happened to your dad and I. Life would not be the same without you.

I want you to know that you and your dad are the best things that have ever happened to me. I would not be where I am today, if I didn't have the both of you.

I want you to know that I'm always going to be here for you, no matter how old you are, and no matter where life takes our little family. Don't ever forget that your dad and I adore you more than anything in this world. Bentley Jess, you will always be my baby boy and I love you more than you'll ever know.

Xoxo,
Mom
