Adventures in Utah, New Car & 4 months

These past weeks have been super crazy. I've been non stop running, since we've moved in to our apartment. Yesterday was the first day, I actually got to stay at home with my baby boy and do nothing, all day long. It felt so good!

Last week, Bentley and I were driving to Idaho to meet Trevor half way so we could spend some time with him. Well, I was just hitting Burley, ID when my car decided to die on me on the interstate. So, I pulled over and waited 3 hours for Trevor to come rescue us. Trevor's cousin Dallas, lives in Twin Falls and came out and sat with us until Trevor got to us. We took him out to dinner to thank him and headed back down to Utah. We towed my car and decided to just get rid of it. No use in keeping a car that doesn't work!

The next couple of days Trevor and I just spent time together and time with Bentley. It was nice to spend some time together as a family. It's hard living in two different states, but it'll make us being together again so worth it when the time comes.

We did some shopping, went out to eat and just enjoyed our time with each other and with Bentley. Before Trevor left, we decided we'd go see a movie! It's nice to have my family around to help watch Bentley for us, so we can actually go out and do something without having to worry about him for a little bit.

Since my old car died, I obviously needed a new one! Thanks to my hard working husband I was able to get my dream car! A 2005 Mazda 3 and I absolutely love it! It's a lot nicer than my old car and I feel safer in it and it's more reliable. My old car lasted me 2 years and we're hoping this car lasts us a very long time.

Our cute baby boy turned 4 months this past Monday. He just keeps growing and growing! We had his 4 month check up on Tuesday and his pediatrician is super happy with how healthy he is and how well he's growing and developing.

Bentley Jess 4 month update:
-18 pounds, 90th percentile for weight.
-26 inches long, 97th percentile for height.
-He loves to talk and smile all the time.
-He loves to stand and jump.
-He loves swimming.
-He loves seeing his daddy after a week or two of not seeing him.
Trevor and I love Bentley so much and couldn't imagine life without him!

Xoxo,
Emi
