1 Year Down!

September 10, 2013 I married my best friend Trevor Simpson down at the Spanish Fork courthouse. Marrying him was one of the best decisions I've made in my life so far.

We made it through our first year of marriage! It's been a long road coming for us and we've over come some of the hardest trials that have been thrown our way. A lot has happened in this first year, but it's all been worth it. I can't wait to finally be sealed to him this December. Happy anniversary Trev! I love you! Bring on year 2!

No Place Like Utah

I really need to keep up on these blog posts! Don't worry everybody, I'm still here and ready to share another adventure with you all!

Towards the end of August, I had the opportunity to go down to Utah (where I'm from) and spend some time with my family. It was a great week and a half. I miss my family a lot, since we live in a different state.

I got to see one of my cute nieces and nephews! Kennedi is so much fun to be around and I love being able to see her and my nephews. I spent a lot of time being able to see my older sisters as well. It's fun being an aunt and being able to come back and visit my nieces and nephews! It's crazy how much they grow and learn when you've only been gone for a couple months.

Before I left, Trevor and I talked about me doing something with my dad that he would really like and he wouldn't have to pay for! So, we got tickets to Wicked and I took my dad out on a father daughter date. It was so much fun! We saw Wicked on Broadway in New York years ago, but being able to see it again was definitely worth it and a lot of fun. Spending time with my dad is one of the things I love to do whenever I have the chance to visit back home.

One of the things I really wanted to do while I was in Utah was to go to the Ogden Temple Open house and I got to with some of my family! It was so amazing and such a blessing to be able to walk through it. I was able to go do baptisms with my youth group back in 2010 right before they closed it, and coming back for the open house was a neat experience. It also got me really excited for when Trevor and I get to finally be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity.

Also, I do weekly bump pictures of my baby bump every Thursday, because that's when I start a new week of pregnancy. These were while I was in Utah!

Being in Utah was a lot of fun and kept me busy! I was moving or doing something at least everyday. I went to a ton of movies, almost one every day. Went out to eat a lot with family. I got to see my older brothers and sisters (except a few.) I got to stay at my grandparents house and see them and some of my aunts/uncles and cousins. I did a lot of shopping. It was just a great week and a half!

I'll tell you what though, I was really excited to come back to Washington to be with Trevor! I really missed him while I was gone. He even got me a welcome home present ;)
