Last Reception!

Saturday, October 26th, we had our second reception in Connell. It was amazing! 

Thanks to my awesome mother in law and her amazing friends, our reception up here in Washington would've never happened. It was so cute and decorated all nice and the food was delicious! It was really great meeting everyone from Trevor's ward that have known him and his family for years! I basically met the whole town! Connell's not that big, but I don't mind. 

Now that our receptions are done and over with, we're counting down the days until September, 10th 2014 where we will finally be sealed in the lord's house for time and all eternity. I seriously can't wait. If we're lucky, we might get a 3rd reception ;) haha!

Saturday, October 12th, was a crazy and stressful day, but a very special day for Trevor and I. We finally got to celebrate our marriage! I love that we were able to have a wedding reception, and we get to have one in Washington as well! I'm so excited to meet all of Trevor's friends and family members back in his home town. 

I was so excited that I FINALLY got to wear my wedding dress, even if it was only for two hours, I just felt like a princess. I got my nails done, hair done and make up done, all thanks to Jeremiah! He did an amazing job. I felt so beautiful and ah! So great. My husband looked freakin hot in his tux and he finally got a haircut, which made him look very nice. Seriously, we make a pretty good lookin couple, especially when we're dressed up all fancy ;) 

A huge shoutout to my dad and grandma who helped plan the whole reception and helped out a ton with the finances so we could actually have a reception down here. I love my dad and grandma so much! It means a lot that they could help us out. Thanks for mom for coming and bringing my little siblings. It means a lot that she came, even though we may not be on the best terms, I still love her. Also, thanks to my mother in law and brother in laws for coming down from Washington to spend our special day with us! I seriously can't wait for the Washington reception! I am so excited. Thanks to my bridesmaids and our brothers for participating in our bridal party and standing and taking a billion pictures! Thanks to Christy (Trevor's cousin) for letting us borrow her beautiful home for us to have our reception in, couldn't have done it without her. And thanks to everyone else for coming and celebrating our marriage with us! We loved seeing everyone!

I'll Go Inside Someday

Next year can't come fast enough! September 2014 literally needs to be here already. I can't wait to be sealed to my best friend for time and all eternity!

As many of you know, yes we did elope. We have our reasons of why we did, reasons that make sense to us and was the best decision for us. Since we got married civilly, we have to wait 1 whole year to get sealed in the temple. It kills us that we have to wait, but in the end it'll all be worth it. No one said it was going to be easy, they just said it'll be worth it. 

I love my husband Trevor so much. He does everything he can to support us and make me happy. I couldn't ask for a better best friend or husband to have in my life. We're counting down the days until we can walk into the temple and come out sealed together for time and all eternity. It'll definitely be a bumpy road this next year and certainly not easy, but it'll all be worth it in the end. Because then my best friend and I can finally be sealed in the house of The Lord.
